Evan Rea (owner) is an accomplished pianist/keyboardist in the Chicago area. He has been teaching for 25 years. He was the keyboardist/associate conductor for Billy Elliot in Chicago. Also, from 2003 to 2008 he was the Music Director for American Girl Theater. Other Broadway In Chicago credits include the full run of Wicked, Big Fish, Mama Mia, Hairspray, and A Chorus Line. For the past two years he has been the associate conductor at Drury Lane Oakbrook, playing and conducting such shows as Gypsy, Hairspray, Sunset Boulevard, Aida, and Spamalot. Additionally, in 2012 Evan was the music director of Annie at the Paramount Arts Centre in Aurora. Artists he has played for include Aretha Franklin, Smokey Robinson, Martin Short, as well as many others. He also plays keyboards full-time with the popular Chicago band, Orchestra 33. Lastly, he is a Chicago-area talent scout for Cirque Du Soleil.
